Diversity & Unconscious Bias Workshop

Diversity & Unconscious Bias

The topics that will be covered include a brief framework of race and racism, unconscious bias and cultural diversity.  We will explore the context that shaped our ideas of race in this country and how that has shaped many of our ideas of race presently.

We will also explore what unconscious bias is, the different facets of bias as well as some keys to moving past our inherent biases.

Lastly we will explore the concepts of cultural diversity, its importance and how we each can grow in this concept.
