Eggs & Issues-Mining in Minnesota

With a commitment to 100% clean energy by 2040, Minnesota is gearing up for a historic energy transition powered by minerals. Many of these minerals, including copper, nickel, and cobalt, are found in vast quantities in northern Minnesota, where they wait to be mined. Julie Lucas, Executive Director of MiningMinnesota, will share the organization’s perspective on the opportunities presented by these abundant natural resources as well as the critical questions Minnesotans should be asking about what will power their future.
