Strengthsfinder 2.0

What do you believe is more powerful in ensuring your professional success, fixing your weaknesses or further developing your strengths? According to years of research by The Gallup Organization, the source of our greatness lies not in focusing our energy on remediating weaknesses but rather in identifying and building on our natural talents. Adding skills and knowledge to natural talents produces strengths and consistent, near perfect performance. The key to achieving success through a strengths-based approach is identifying our natural talents and then consciously choosing to strengthen and utilize them. Weaknesses simply become things about ourselves we learn to manage, saving the best part of our energy and attention to building our strengths.

This course will introduce students to the strengths-based philosophy as well as providing the opportunity to explore their strengths through the StrengthsFinder 2.0 assessment*, set up specific goals and action items, and explore how to better utilize strengths in both your professional and personal life.
